Wang Baoguo, Party Secretary of CMU Sanbo Brain Hospital, said that the brand "Sanbo" was founded in 2004. After 14 years of development, it has explored a new hospital management model and formed a medical group that is led by medical investment, hospital management and brand operation and integrates "medical care, teaching and scientific research". Sanbo Brain Hospital, established in 2004, is the 11th clinical medical school of Capital Medical University. At present, its neurosurgery has developed as a key clinical specialty in the country.

In the future, Sanbo Group will join hands with more than 100 3A hospitals and tertiary hospitals nationwide to set up a close and core medical union. It plans to form patient referral cooperation with more than 1,000 county- and district-level hospitals, which will be dominated by technical assistance, thus to establish emergency channels and green channels. Such cooperation will enable our doctors to circulate from point to point within the union and perform surgery on patients. Meanwhile, patients are also mobilized to get treatment and operation locally. Regarding the operation that needs to be carried out in Beijing, a green channel is set up so that the patient will be committed to hospital for surgery within the shortest time. After surgery, the patient can return to local treatment. Such model creates an optimal medical environment for the people.
He also said that the development model of Aikang Group is similar to that of Sanbo Group, and Aikang Group has established hospitals in Hubei, Hunan, Anhui and other places. The goals of both parties are the same. Members in the medical union are like relatives. He expected that in the future, the two sides will consolidate the cooperation to embrace closer interaction. They will have their own place in the medical industry and create an equal medical environment for the people.

Huangshi Aikang Hospital is one of the few 3A hospitals run by nongovernmental capital in the country, and also a centennial enterprise hospital. Also in 2004, after the institutional reform by Aikang Group, the newly restructured hospital has achieved rapid development. With excellent medical technologies and good medical services, the hospital has won wide recognition. It has been selected into the list of "Top 100 Non-Public Hospitals in China" for the sixth consecutive year, taking 36th place. Additionally, it has won a series of honors, such as "The Most Valuable Hospital of China", "Innovative Enterprise Hospital of China", etc.
